Drake and Travis Scott Light Up Rogers Arena After Initial Setback

After the letdown of a last-minute delay on Monday, Drake fans found themselves rewarded when the artist finally hit the stage on Tuesday evening.

The internet was rife with speculation about who would share the stage with Drake during his Vancouver performance. 21 Savage, who has been a regular feature during other parts of Drake's "It's All A Blur Tour," was unable to cross the Canadian border due to legal issues.

"Good news, Vancouver," Drake announced to the audience at Rogers Arena, "I've got someone special who loves this city almost as much as I do."

The crowd had been buzzing with the possibility that the surprise guest might be the renowned Travis Scott, particularly after he was seen in Vancouver's Yaletown neighborhood on Monday. Their suspicions proved accurate.

Drake and Scott delighted the Vancouver audience with the debut live rendition of their joint track 'Meltdown,' followed by a performance of their Diamond-certified hit "Sicko Mode."

Travis Scott also announced his return to Vancouver this November for his "Circus Maximus" tour.

Drake shared with the audience that the Vancouver performance would be the "one and only chance to catch Travis Scott on this particular tour."

For fans who had to leave Rogers Arena on Monday due to last-minute complications with the venue's new video board—some of whom had been queuing since dawn—the exclusive set from Drake and Travis Scott served as a special make-up gift.

The lingering question now is whether Scott will make an appearance at Drake's second Vancouver show set for Wednesday night.
