Last week, PartyNextDoor unveiled his eagerly anticipated fourth studio album, PARTYNEXTDOOR 4 (P4).


The project has since been met with plenty of praise from fans and critics alike, with many arguing that it’s some of his best work yet. The album is his first in four years and follows his 2020 LP PARTYMOBILE. It’s the third in his self-titled series, following his 2016 offering, P3.

While fans the Canadian-born performer’s latest project, estimates on how it’ll perform in its first week have surfaced online. According to HipHop-N-More, it’s on track to sell 33–38k.


This is a bit of a drop-off from what his last album PARTYMOBILE sold in its first week, 50k

The announcement of PartyNextDoor’s new album made a splash, thanks in part to its NSFW cover art. It features a nude model bent over on a bed, which had all of social media shaken. The cover is so shocking that many even suspected it was some kind of April Fool’s Day prank, but alas, it wasn’t. The model in question is Lanazia Greene, who also goes by MaamiNextDoor. It was later revealed that she has a child with Haiti Babii, who took to social media to address the outcry over the scandalous album art. Fortunately, he didn’t seem too upset by the cover. In fact, he seemed happy for the mother of his child.


“I didn’t know my child’s mother stripped or did only fans or was a part of PND rollout,” Haiti Babii explained. “I’m not posting to shame or humiliate her because I know she’s living her dream.” What do you think of PartyNextDoor’s new album, P4?

GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion release “Wanna Be” video.


On Friday, GloRilla put out her highly anticipated “Ehhthang Ehhthang” mixtape. 12 songs were included, which is led by her buzzing “Yeah Glo” single. Moreover, Glo also collaborated with Megan Thee Stallion, Moneybagg Yo, and more.


Meanwhile, GloRilla has just released the video for “Wanna Be,” featuring Megan Thee Stallion. This comes after the two initially announced that a collab was on the way, earlier this week.


In addition to Wanna Be, GloRilla will also perform on Megan’s upcoming Hot Girl Summer Tour, which kicks off in May. The opening date will kick off on May 14, in Minneapolis, MN. The tour will last until July 27, at the Broccoli City festival in Washington, D.C.

The production threads together neon keys with hypnotic beat-craft. An immediately irresistible refrain captures the message as Marley Young reminds, “Got plaques on the wall just to show you where I been, and I’m still independent.” Tech replies with a lyrical warning, “In-de-pendent…I’m the landlord you the tenant.” Asserting his dominance and holding nothing back, he proceeds to breathlessly rap with one quotable bar after another.


The track continues yet another prolific season for Tech. Last month, he delivered the collabos anthem “You Know Where You Can Go.” It has already piled up nearly 319K Spotify streams as well as 113K YouTube views on the music video. Meanwhile, Sway’s Universe raved, “In the world of hip-hop, few names resonate as powerfully as Tech N9ne. The icon has once again set the bar high with his latest collaboration single, ‘You Know Where You Can Go’.” It also notched plugs from The Hype Magazine, V13, and more. 


It landed in the wake of the collabos track “Roll Call” with Rittz and featuring King Iso, Joey Cool, JL, Lex Bratcher, and X-Raided. The latter has already stacked up over 1.4MM YouTube views on the music video. In addition to plugs from Rock The Bells, Ghost Cult Magazine, The Hype Magazine, and more, his hometown television station KCTV5 hailed it as “explosive.”

“Roll Call” notably stood out as the first collabos release in seven years since the eighth album in the series, Strange Reign, dropped in 2017. Canvasing the country this Spring, he hits the road for a series of live shows, kicking off on April 17 at the Arcata Theatre Lounge in Arcata, California.
